Lameness
Lameness examination and treatment. Diagnostic equipment include digital X-Ray machine for high quality Images and a high quality Ultrasound machine to examine soft tissue structures. Tower Equine have a shockwave machine which can be used in the rehabilition of some lameness injuries.

Reproduction
Pre and Post Breeding mare care including ultrasound scanning, uterine lavage, cervical swabbing and caslick's procedure. Artificial insemination services offered: chilled and frozen.

Laboratory
Haematology/CBC, Biochemistry, Electrolytes, Worm Egg Counts, Bacterial cell cultures.

Surgery
Emergency and Elective surgery. Elective surgery includes upper respiratory(wind) surgery, inguinal/umbilical hernias and diastema/parrot mouth procedures. Also, routine orthopaedic and arthroscopic surgery is carried out by our specialist surgeon. We offer treatment for conformational deformities in foals and yearlings including transphyseal screw implants, periosteal elevations and shockwave therapy.

Shockwave therapy
Shockwave therapy can be used for the correction of angular limb deformities in foals as well as musculoskeletal injuries in the older horse.

Respiratory Examination
Endoscopic investigation , bronchoalveolar lavage (lung wash), excercise endoscope.
The excercise endoscope is a new device which is an 'on board scope'. This allows the vet to place the scope on the horse and allow the horse to excercise for a short period of time. The vet will then remove the scope and watch the video clip which recorded the horses upper respiratory tract while excercising. This enables us to see how the horse is perfoming while excercising enabling a more accurate diagnosis.
We offer wind surgery if required including Tieback, Hobday, Soft palate cautery as well as sinus procedures.
